Table clock. France, 19th century. In black marble, green marble and calamine. No key. In need of refinishing. Measurements: 52 x 58 x 19 cm. Table clock with black marble base on gilded legs, with quadrangular ornamentation in green marble on the front of the base, as the classical taste of the period for clean spaces reminding the neoclassicism. On this base is a male figure in calamine, who appears to be an athlete from the clothes he is wearing. The folds of the tunic are delicate and the quality of the piece can be appreciated. On the right is the calamine clock case, with various decorative elements such as a lion's head on the side. The dial of the clock is white with Roman numerals in strokes, bordered by a gilded calamine dial with striated mercury.
