Altar censer; Baozhan, China, Qing dynasty, 1644-1912. Carved and lacquered wood. Measurements: 20 x 49 x 15 cm. Incense stand intended to be placed on the altar of a divinity, from the city of Baozhan in the Chinese province of Yunnan. It is richly carved in wood and then lacquered.
