The illustration consists of a large title vignette with the arms of the city of Lyon, and 12 engraved plates, one of which is folding. Tear without missing a plate. Some light soiling in places. Ink stains on a plate of the 1st part. Rare and beautiful book of celebrations published on the occasion of the coming to Lyon of Louis XIII and Anne of Austria, placed under the theme of the Sun King (which will be more applied to his son Louis XIV). Just as the sun, lord of the planets, travels through the kingdom of the zodiac, so the king visits the different cities of his kingdom (here Lyon), protected by the sign of Leo. The second part describes the reception at the Jesuit College, followed by fireworks brilliantly illustrated in several engravings.
