Description
Important gilt bronze CHASSE RELIQUARY in the neo-Gothic style with an architectural form housing a reliquary bust of Saint Medard. The bust was made by the Poussielgue-Rusand workshop and is a copy of a reliquary from the Meuse (15th century) exhibited at the Rijksmuseum. 42 x 36 x 23 cm.
