Madonna with baby Jesus Alpine, 18th century Wood, carved in full relief and painted in polychrome. The Madonna and Child Jesus standing on the globe as the Queen of Heaven, crushing sin in the form of a snake with her foot. Mary wears a crown and a sceptre as a sign of her dignity, the infant Jesus supports the orb on his little leg with his right hand. Frame with numerous losses, the thumb of the Virgin broken off.
