MANUSCRIT] - Plan des Propriétés de monsr. Pierre Christophe Portefin located in the communes of Saint Denis, Aubervilliers, La Chapelle, St Ouen, La Villette, Pantin, La Courneuve and Drancy Drawn up by Hardon Bérenger, 1st class surveyor at the cadastre of the Seine department (Paris), 1816. In-folio, title with scale on verso, (2) pp. of table, 30 col. plans, most framed 35 X 27.5 cm with designation, surface area, origin of ownership opposite, half vellum of covered ep., scratches with lacks, dull corners. The plans are cross-referenced to sections of the Napoleonic cadastre (1808-1812). They concern the following communes: Saint Denis (lieux-dits Les Beaumonts, Franc Moisin, La Montjoie), Aubervilliers (Le Goulet, La Haye Coq, Le Presle, La Croix Blanche), La Chapelle (la Croix Penchée, Croix de l'Evangile, Hauts Bazins), St Ouen (La Motte), La Villette (La Maladrerie, Les Sablons, Montfaucon, Les Buttes), Pantin (L'Eau Bonne, Trou Bonneau, Buisson Pouilleux, Le Presle, Les Renardières), La Courneuve (Haut du Bourget, Le Gros Saule, St Lucien), Drancy (La Vache Alaize), Montmartre (Les Sureaux, Croix Moreau, Les Rapines), Clichy (La Raie Tortue), Villetaneuse (Derrière le Parc). The names of the owners of adjacent plots were added, as well as roadways and canals (Canal de St Denis, ditch of the Canal de l'Ourcq under construction in Aubervillers, Rû de Montfort in Pantin, Rivière de Crou in La Courneuve). More recent creations crossing Mr. Portefin's properties are superimposed in violet ink, such as the railway line from Nord to St Denis, route départementale n°20 going to Epinay via St Ouen, route de Pantin, section à Pantin. The Almanach royal of 1832 lists M. Portefin ''propriétaire'' member of the Bureau de bienfaisance du 8e Arrondissement.
