A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASE
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of baluster form, decorated in underglaze blue depicting magpies, butterflies, bamboo, blossoming flowers, and chrysanthemum, the neck surrounded by a band of stylized patterns.
Condition: Good condition with little fritting and manufacturing flaws.
Provenance: German private collection. According to the current owner it has been acquired from a Berlin auction in 2013.
