dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: USA, Rifled, cylindrical, 52 rimfire cal. barrel, with foresight and rear sight (clearly visible groove yet with some pitting). Rotating breech block on one side for the loading, marked with patents 1851 and 1862. Forward spring lock marked 'JOSLYN FIRE ARMS Co / STONINGTON / CONN 1864'. Working mechanics. Walnut half stock. Smooth iron mounts. 85% of bluing. length 98.5 cm.
