The wrath of Caiaphas, part of a carved oak altarpiece. Seated on a cathedra, the high priest is wearing a cap with a turban and a piece of silverware adorned with jewels, he has put his hand in that of a member of the Sanhedrin who is holding him back, three other figures in the background have sceptical expressions. A dog is sitting on a step of the throne, its front left paw raised.
