Barnfind Attractive estimate Same owner since 1985  French title Sold without technical inspection Chassis n° 7819 Presented at the 1921 Paris Motor Show, the Type C, better known as the 5 HP, is the first Citroën in the small car segment. Its type will evolve in C2 in 1923 then in C3 in 1925 with a lengthened chassis. It was available as a 2-seat torpedo or convertible, as well as a 3-seat torpedo, which earned it the nickname «cloverleaf» because of the seating arrangement. Renowned for its robustness and reliability, it was a great commercial success, with more than 80,000 examples produced between 1922 and 1926. The Type C3 we present is a 3-seater torpedo in its original state, which will need a restoration.
