Louis AUBRY (1741-1814) Received Maître Ébéniste in 1774 Straight desk in veneered wood, rosewood, amaranth and light wood fillets. It opens on the front with a flap and four drawers, three in the lower section and one in the upper section. The open flap reveals seven drawers topped with paperweights. Red Breche marble top with doucine. 18th century. Stamped "L. AUBRY" and Jurande hallmark. Height with marble: 142.5 cm. Width: 93 cm. Depth: 36 cm. A dent in the upper crosspiece. Missing marquetry. Minor restorations.

A fine Louis XVI ormolu-mounted tulipwood, kingwood and fruitwood marquetry occasional table Louis Aubry, Paris, ca. 1780 and later 74 x 47 x 33 cm The rectangular Violet Brocatelle marble top with pierced gallery surround above three drawers sans-travers decorated with a musical trophy and flower sprays to the sided on square tapering lengs ending in toupie feet joined by and undertier. Stamped "L. Aubry" and JME. Rest, additions, faded due to sunlight to the back. Louis Aubry (1741-1814), maître in 1774.
