Paris, M. de Brunhoff, 1886. In-8, unbound (binding removed, stitching solid; trace of glue in margin of frontispiece). First illustrated edition, including a portrait of the author after a photograph, an engraved plate after Félicien Rops, and two vignettes in the text. Limited edition of 250 copies on japon, with the engraving of Rops in three states (bistre and blue before the letter and final state) and a second state of the vignettes in red off-text. - MONTESQUIOU (Robert de).
