Lot 104 - Plato de porcelana "Dragón y fénix", dinastía Qing, con sello Yongzheng - Porcelain dish with underglaze blue and white decorations covering the surface. The interior shows, inscribed in a double blue circle, the image of a large five-clawed dragon, floating in the sky surrounded by ruyi clouds and elongated flames. It looks forward with a menacing expression and open jaws, and holds between its claws a Chinese symbol of longevity. The exterior shows a continuous scene framed by four blue stripes, of three beautiful phoenixes with long tails and rich plumage soaring through the sky amidst ruyi clouds. Lot 105 - Jarrón "Bianhu" celadón con dragón y murciélago, dinastía Qing - Beautiful monochrome vase, finely crafted, with a rounded body with a flattened profile, from which emerges a narrow neck ending with a rounded bulbous mouth, which is joined to the body by two delicate, almost smooth handles. The piece is covered with a faint glaze of the subtlest celadon color, and decorated with meticulous reliefs that completely cover the body, neck and mouth. On both sides of the vase is depicted, in the central area and surrounded by clouds, a five-clawed dragon with its gaze forward and its jaws open, defiantly facing the viewer, who curls its body sinuously around a flaming pearl. The image of the mythical beast is flanked by beautiful open-winged bats, arranged on the narrow sides of the vase. An imposing sea full of raging waves is arranged beneath the dragon and adds great dynamism to the image. The five-clawed dragon is traditionally a representation of the emperor himself, reflecting his power and glory. Lot 108 - Plato de porcelana en rojo, azul y blanco "Los Ocho Inmortales", con marca Qianlong - Porcelain deep dish with blue, red and white underglaze decorations. Inside, a medallion framed by a double blue circle shows the scene of a wise old man, dressed in a long robe and holding a long staff, accompanied by a young deer, arranged on a background of raging waves made in red. The outer border shows the same background of large red waves, but on them are arranged the Eight Immortals, dressed in rich robes and carrying their distinctive attributes or An Baxian, some of them. The Eight Immortals are deities of Chinese mythology who are believed to have existed in an earthly form, and dedicated their lives to the search for immortality, which they attained through the Tao. Lot 109 - Candelabro de porcelana esmaltada "famille rose", dinastía Qing, con sello Qianglong - Beautiful porcelain candelabra composed of a wide circular foot on which stands a body that combines flared, rounded, and balustraded volumes, arranged in an overlapping manner, forming a slender and elongated hollow body in the center. In the central area there is a second disc in the form of a slightly convex plate. The piece ends with a thin circular mouth wider than the center. The piece is profusely decorated with colorful enamels. The bottom has a beautiful bluish or lavender color, on which sgraffito decorations have been made. Both the base and the central disc show a floral pattern, with scrolls of twisted branches, beautiful flowers and large leaves. The central body shows a succession of borders that, following the floral theme, represent elongated leaves, beautiful lotuses in bloom and fine colored dots. All the borders and some details in particular, are decorated with details in gold, slightly faded by the passage of time. It shows a four-character stamp on the base "乾隆年制". Lot 110 - Jarrón de porcelana "Murciélagos y nubes" dinastía Qing - Vase of circular plant, supported on a narrow foot, has a globular body, slightly flat that narrows to the height of the shoulders forming an elongated neck. It is deeply decorated in cinnabar blue and iron red underglaze enamel, with fine details in gold, representing small bats with outstretched wings flying over a sky full of curled clouds. Both the foot and the mouth are adorned with bands of decorative elements such as intertwined branches, geometric motifs or lotuses in bloom. The terms "fortune" and "bat" are homophones in Mandarin Chinese; this is why we find a widespread representation of this animal in various works throughout the Qing Dynasty. It has a balustraded profile, with a circular base, rounded shoulders, a short neck and an open mouth. On a blue background decorated with patterns of auspicious Buddhist symbols on the body and small rouleaux on the neck, made ensgrafiatto, are arranged on the body, two scenes inscribed in a frame of scrolls showing two small birds with rich plumage in a beautiful garden full of vegetation and colorful flowers. The shoulders are adorned with lace and hanging flowers, and the neck shows a continuous branch with leaves twisted as a ring. It shows a four-character mark "乾隆年製" in underglaze blue on a white background and an old label stating "Panama Exposition 1919, Exhibit from Kiangsi China". Lot 118 - Recipiente ceremonial "Dou" de cerámica vidriada, dinastía Qing - Porcelain vessel with rounded body and lid, standing on an elongated circular foot with a flared profile. The concave lid is finished with a small braided handle. It is decorated with a bright yellow glaze that covers the entire surface. The exterior is adorned by overlapping stripes, of varying thickness, of "taotie" elements and Buddhist symbols in relief, which follow one after the other and give the piece an elegant and ceremonial appearance. Lot 132 - Caja "Go" de porcelana vidriada en azul, dinastia Qing - Porcelain "围棋" box with lid. With rounded body and lids, it is decorated with an intense cinnabar blue glaze on the outside and pristine white on the inside. With four-character stamp "雍正年制" on the inside of the lid. Go is a two-person board strategy game that originated in China over 2500 years ago. It was one of the four essential arts in ancient times for its comprehensive strategies and combinations. Each player is assigned a color before starting (black or white) and takes turns placing checkers on the intersections of the board. Distant mountains and a large river with a bridge surrounded by vegetation are seen. It depicts a scene from "All Nations Come to Court" or "万国来朝", on the anniversary of the Qianlong Emperor. Numerous characters cross the bridge from different parts of the world to bring presents or tributes to the emperor. The scene is framed by a line of "ruyi" in blue (top) and pink (bottom) background that continues with a line of petals and branches. As a separation between the shoulders and the neck, it has a border with continuous Buddhist patterns. The shoulders are decorated with a line of curled floral elements, with a yellow background, followed by another on a pink background. In the center and vertically there is an open lotus flower, a Buddhist emblem "precious fish" and a bat. The registers are separated by golden rings, as are the lower and upper edges, partially worn. The interior and base are covered with a pale turquoise enamel and has a square seal, in reserve and red enamel, of six characters "大清乾隆年制". Lot 176 - Recipiente para pinceles de porcelana esmaltada "Patos mandarines", dinastía Ming - Vessel made of molded porcelain with underglaze blue and white decoration. It has a circular base and a rounded body and hollow interior, molded with details in relief to portray two mandarin ducks joined together, with wings next to the body, tails raised and heads together. It shows in detail the plumage of the birds, as well as their faces, rendered in blue on the white background. The depiction of two mandarin ducks together is related, in Chinese culture, to the traditional expression "只羡鸳鸯不羡仙" (I only envy the mandarin ducks but not the immortals) which tries to teach that as long as you can grow old holding hands like mandarin ducks and stay together for life, it is not fit to wish to be a god in heaven. Also, there is a Chinese idiom "百年好合" (Bainián hao hé) "A happy marriage for a hundred years" which means to wish two people love and affection for a lifetime. The neck and shoulders are profusely decorated with superimposed horizontal borders, of diverse thickness and motifs such as banana leaves, auspicious characters, flowers, bats and leaf scrolls. The belly houses a continuous battle scene, with horsemen, archers and men carrying banners. Lot 195 - Jarrón Zun en forma de Granada de cerámica y bronce, Dinastía Qing - Glazed ceramic "Gē yáo" of grayish hue covered by an irregular two-color crackle. The shape is completely rounded in the body, and narrows at the neck, rising conically and opening like petals, following the natural shape of a pomegranate. The ceramic rests on a circular bronze base, which rests on three beautiful feet decorated with spirals.
