Francis VEILLEROT, born 1958 Cigalon 1 stool, Saint Hilaire des Landes - 2014 Steel, flamed oak, maple. Unique piece engraved and signed with a marker under the seat. Seat in curved maple strips and base in steel and flamed oak. Height 83 - Width 48.5 - Depth 35 cm --- Francis VEILLEROT, born 1958 In 1985, Francis Veillerot set up his first workshop as a cooperative of craftsmen in Ivry sur Seine. He changed direction in the 2000s, creating a line of solid wood furniture in a steel structure, then set up a second workshop in Seine et Marne in a former distillery. In 2006, he moved to Brittany and set up his third workshop in Fougères. He joined Ebénistes & Créateurs de Bretagne, an association that brings together some twenty Breton craftsmen to exhibit their work. Combining wood and iron, his guiding principle is simple: to create lasting objects by solid, noble materials. Shaping unique pieces of furniture with clean, sometimes unusual lines drawn freehand, Francis Veillerot explores all shapes, both accepted and unexpected, to create one-of-a-kind furniture. Brittany inspires Francis Veillerot first and foremost through his contact with unspoiled nature - his workshop nestled near a quarry offers a vision of granite blocks - but also through his encounters with other designers and cabinet-makers who share the same need to create in Brittany, thus provoking an emulsion of local talent.

Height 34 - Width 32 - Depth 16 cm each --- ADAOZAN - Youenn Le Pocréau and Guillaume Bournigal, born in 1991 and 1993 Adaozañ is a project rooted in the circular economy and a responsible, local approach, both in its search for economy of means and in its desire to recreate an ecosystem in the area where it is located. ecosystem in the local area. Indeed, in addition to directly combating a source of soil pollution, Adaozañ has the dual aim of making waste desirable by highlighting its aesthetic and sensory characteristics, as well as raising awareness of the environmental challenge posed by the direct impact of waste in our territories. The Ar Seiz Avel exhibition offers a great opportunity to showcase our approach to a wide public, while providing us with a framework for experimentation in a unique and sincere project. The work presented at the exhibition-sale will be composed of two elements forming a sculptural and functional whole, similar to side tables. The idea is to use smaller elements, similar to terracotta bricks but made from apple waste, which come together to form a larger element. This major work, specially conceived for the occasion, will represent the largest object ever made from apple pomace.
