Description

A later-decorated Sèvres teapot and cover (théière calabré), the porcelain c.1760-70, finely decorated with jewelled and foil decoration in the Fromery manner, with scrolling floral and leaf bands flanked by berried borders, the cover with a gilt fruit knop, spurious gilt interlaced Ls mark and painter's mark 2000, metal mount to the base of the handle, 13.3cm across.
