Circle: Shipwreck on a rocky coast with three people escaping to shore in the foreground, in the background a sacred building on a rocky plateau, c. 1677, Etching Technique: Etching on Paper (blue) Inscription: At the upper part inscribed in the printing plate: "Der dritte Theil". Date: c. 1677 Description: Depiction of a shipwreck on a rocky coast. In the foreground, three men are rescuing themselves from distress on land. In the background is architecture with a crescent moon sign. Presumably from "Le Miroir Ottoman". Very similar to Johannes Meyer's depiction. This is either a new edition by the artist or a slightly altered copy after Meyer's etching for a later edition of "Le Miroir Ottoman".
