Johannes Frenkel./Anno 1661". Lower middle dated: "1661". Date: 1661 Description: The portrait shows Petrus Werderman, the counsellor of the Elector of Saxony Johann Georg II. The engraving impresses with the sober portrait in three-quarter view of the sitter, whose dignity in the portrait itself is only emphasised by the holding of a medal with the left hand. This contrasts with the very exuberant decorative frame with its precisely engraved figurative elements and pictorial depictions.
