A FAMILLE VERTE ENAMELED PORCELAIN BRUSHPOT, c. 1920s A FAMILLE VERTE ENAMELED PORCELAIN BRUSHPOT, c. 1920s China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Of cylindrical form, painted in vivid green, yellow, aubergine and blue enamels, as well as in iron-red and black. The glaze is covering the interior and exterior walls as well as the circular depression at the center of the concave base, but not its outer edge. The exterior finely decorated with two Buddhist lions with brocade balls, surrounded by iron-red flames. Condition: Good condition with minor wear, firing irregularities, and fritting to rims. Provenance: French trade. Weight: 594 g Dimensions: Height 12 cm
