AN ENAMELED ‘COURT LADIES’ PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASE, c. 1900s AN ENAMELED ‘COURT LADIES’ PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASE, c. 1900s China, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The vase tapering towards the foot, with a waisted neck flanked by openwork handles, and a flared rim lined in café au lait. The body finely painted with court ladies and a young boy in a garden, the reverse with calligraphy at the neck and body. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Condition: Good condition with minor wear, little rubbing to the enamels, light surface scratches, a small star crack to the body, and firing flaws including dark spots and pitting. Weight: 2.8 kg Dimensions: Height 43.1 cm
