Of tubular form, the exterior walls finely painted in polychrome enamels, gilt, and iron-red, depicting four cartouches enclosing courtiers in a palace scene and birds on blossoming sprigs, all above a densely decorated ground with scrolls, blossoms, and butterflies. Provenance: Austrian private collection. The base with an old collector’s label ‘31412 8’. Condition: Good condition with some wear, rubbing, and minor losses to the enamels. Light surface scratches, a hairline to the cover, few chips and nibbling to the rims, and firing flaws including dark spots. Weight: 430 g Dimensions: Height 11.6 cm
