A BLUE GLAZED PORCELAIN BOWL, 18TH CENTURY A BLUE GLAZED PORCELAIN BOWL, 18TH CENTURY China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The bowl with rounded walls rising to a slightly everted rim, supported on a short, straight foot, and covered overall in a deep blue glaze safe for the underside. The recessed base with an apocryphal six-character Wanli mark within double lines in underglaze blue. Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by second generation members of the Holzapfel family after 1970 and has remained in the family ever since. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, light surface scratches, and firing flaws including small firing cracks and dark spots. Weight: 222 g Dimensions: Diameter 12 cm
