A LARGE GREEN-GLAZED ARCHITECTURAL POTTERY TILE DEPICTING LOTUS BLOSSOMS, MING DYNASTY A LARGE GREEN-GLAZED ARCHITECTURAL POTTERY TILE DEPICTING LOTUS BLOSSOMS, MING DYNASTY The thick, rectangular tile finely formed with two large lotus blossoms borne on leafy vines with further lotus buds rising beside them. The lotus flower revealing its pods, covered in a brown glaze, the leaves of the flowers glazed yellow. Provenance: From a private collection in Denmark, acquired in Hong Kong in 1988. Condition: Good condition, commensurate with age, with wear. Signs of weathering and erosion, firing flaws, small nicks, losses, and minor chips.
