A LOBED QINGBAI GLAZED PORCELAIN EWER, SONG STYLE A LOBED QINGBAI GLAZED PORCELAIN EWER, SONG STYLE China, Style of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), but dating to the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The body carved with vertical lobes rising to the base of the trumpet neck, further incised with lines along the handle and surmounted by a small loop. Covered overall with a transparent pale aqua glaze darkening in the recesses. Provenance: German private collection. Condition: Good condition with minor wear, a small chip to the upper rim, and firing flaws including uneven glazing, crackling of the glaze, small firing cracks, and minor kiln grit.
