A LOT WITH SEVEN PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLES, c. 1900s A LOT WITH SEVEN PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLES, c. 1900s China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) – Republic period (1912-1949). Comprising three blue and white porcelain bottles, one of compressed globular form, painted with antique treasures and with an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark to the underside, another cylindrical and decorated with a camel next to a castle wall, the other one with a figural scene and an apocryphal Kangxi reign mark to the underside. A baluster shape bottle covered in a crushed-strawberry glaze thinning at the shoulder and neck. A cloisonne bottle of mustard color and painted on each side with a stylized black dragon in pursuit of the flaming pearl, with a matching metal stopper and spoon. Two bottles molded with ornamental designs, each set with a pair of small handles at the neck and covered in a pale celadon glaze. Four bottles with associated stoppers. Condition: Good condition with some wear, firing flaws, fritting to rims, and shallow surface scratches. The blue and white bottle decorated with a camel with a chip to the foot rim.
