AN ALTERED JADE RING, HUAN, HAN DYNASTY AN ALTERED JADE RING, HUAN, HAN DYNASTY China, Han dynasty (202 BC -220 AD) The semi-translucent ring chiseled from pale celadon jade with extensive patches of ivory -white and brown, and with some darker inclusions. Large, circular inner aperture with slightly raised edges which nicely corresponds to the slightly raised outer rim. Condition: Very good condition with expected traces of weathering, alterations, and wear as well as natural inclusions, tiny chips, and fissures to the stone. Provenance: Canadian private collection.
