The Laughing Buddha is depicted wearing an open robe showing his characteristically large belly, holding a rosary in one hand, and supporting a boy on his back. The base fitted and inlaid with metal wire. The stone of an intense blue hue amid veins in various shades of gray beneath glimmering mica flecks. Condition: Good condition with minor wear and small nicks here and there. Provenance: French private collection.
