The bronze weight with remnants of gilding and silvering is cast in the form of a recumbent tiger, with its head raised, and the tail curled, and with a small aperture to the tail. Condition: Overall good condition with surface wear, nicks, and with areas of malachite encrustations. Provenance: Estate of an Austrian collector, the collection was assembled in the 1980s – 1990s through purchases at Galerie Zacke and other specialized galleries in Vienna.
