Finely cast, the mule stands on three legs, lifting the fourth mid-stride, atop prostrated bodies on a lotus pedestal, with the body of Palden Lhamo´s dead son as a saddle and an ornate halter and bridle. The back of the horse with three apertures for a figure. The sealplate incised with three double vajra. Palden Lhamo is known as the wrathful protector of wisdom and principal protector of Tibet. Provenance: From a private collection in the Czech Republic. Condition: Good condition with expected wear, casting flaws, small nicks, some dents, and minor losses. Weight: 2,038 g Dimensions: Length 22.5 cm
