Each crafted from ikat dyed cotton, one panel featuring a vertical stripe at the center with animals studded with small shells and beads alternating with geometric bands and framed by geometric stripes to each side. The second panel decorated at the center with an animal studded with small shells and beads, backed by two red stripes and geometric patterns on a blue ground. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Dr. István Zelnik, President of the Hungarian South and Southeast Asian Research Institute, is a former high-ranking Hungarian diplomat who spent several decades in Southeast Asia, building the largest known private collection of Asian art in Europe. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and little soiling. Dimensions: Size 138 x 27.5 cm and 125 x 31 cm
