Each ehon (picture book) sewn together and containing various illustrations. 1. By Kawamura Kiho (1778-1852), titled Kiho gafu (Kiho’s Sketchbook), dated 1827. Illustrating magnified depiction of people engaged in everyday activities, some landscapes, flowers, animals, birds, insects, etc. Dimensions: 25.3 x 17 cm 2. By Watanabe Seitei (1851-1918), titled Bijutsu Sekai (The World of Art), issue no. 25, dated 1893. Illustrating different birds and fowers. Dimensions: 24.7 x 16.1 cm 3. By Akatsuki Kanenari (1793-1861), titled Ogura hyakushu ruidaibanashi, Vol. 3, dated 1823 (Bunsei 6). A collection of jokes on waka poems by the 100 poets. Dimensions: 24.7 x 17.4 cm Condition: Good condition with minor wear and slight browning of paper. Some soiling and fading, minor pilling, few stains, foxing, and minor losses. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent.
