Title Actor Segawa Kikunojo V as Princess Morokoshi, from the play Oto ni kiku icho no kusemono. The kabuki actor Segawa Kikunojo V as Princess Morokoshi (‘Morokoshi hime’), holding out a circular mirror, crouching by the edge of a pond from which jets of water are shooting up. SIZE of the sheet 38 x 25.5 cm Condition: Good condition some minor wear and slight fading of colors. Trimmed margins, tiny losses along the borders, and few stains. Backed with Japan paper. Utagawa Kuniyasu (1794–1832) was an artist best known for his prints in the ukiyo-e style as a member of the Utagawa school. His teacher was the Utagawa school master Toyokuni.
