The small ojime in the form of the see-no-evil saru, covering its eyes, and the netsuke carved as the speak-no-evil saru , covering its mouth. Each wearing a short-sleeve performance jacket, their hair finely detailed with minute incisions and their piupils inlaid in dark wood. Functional himotoshi through the back of the netsuke monkey. The tonkotsu signed KUNIMITSU on a polished oval reserve. The tonkutsu fitting inside both the netsuke and the ojime. HEIGHT 8.5 cm (tonkotsu), 4.4 cm (netsuke), 2.8 cm (ojime) Condition: Excellent condition.

WIDTH 9 cm (the tonkotsu), HEIGHT 5.1 cm (the netsuke) and 2.4 cm (the ojime) Condition: Very good condition, few minor age cracks, the netsuke and ojime with few minuscule nicks. Provenance: Dutch collection. The interior of the cover with an old Japanese label.
