Among the powers availing themselves of the new arrangements was Czarist Russia, which floated a loan for £3,500,000 in 1822. Three-language partly-printed DS, signed “N. M. Rothschild,” one page both sides, 9.75 x 14.25, March 1, 1822. A Russian imperial bond for 720 rubles with 5% annuity. Signed in the upper right margin in ink by Rothschild. In very good condition, with soiling, areas of paper loss, and splitting to the intersecting folds.
