"To Luciano Ramo, friendly remembrance of Giacomo Puccini, Viareggio 1922", An unusual composition, in which a strange portrait, certainly photographic, but it is not clear whether from life or from an effigy of the Maestro, has been cut out and pasted on. Very nice, extensive, signature. Luciano Ramo (1886-1959) was a publicist and illustrator who was quite well-known at the time. He edited the covers of various magazines, collaborated on numerous newspapers and was also actively involved in the organization and staging of opera, operetta and revue performances. In 1956, he published a 'Storia del varietà' (History of Variety) for Garzanti, which was a good success. - This item is under temporary import.
