Addressed to the management of the Städt Bühnen Graz: “…Leider ist es mir nicht möglich, in der jetzt kommenden Saison, auf Ihre Anfrage ob ich einmal in Graz dirigieren wolle, eine zusagende Antwort zu geben. Meine Zeit ist, auch so lange ich in Wien bin, so sehr in Anspruch genommen, dass es praktisch schlechterdings unmöglich wäre, für ein solches Konzert und die dazugehörigen Proben die nötige Zeit zu erübrigen…”. ½ p.
