OPERA - BATTISTINI Mattia (1856 - 1928) - Autograph letter signed Autograph letter signed, not dated, by the Italian baritone. He lasted in his career until the age of 70 (1927) thanks to a technique considered prodigious and an enviable artistic intelligence. Addressed to a lady, concerning a Mr. Goldberg: “…Quando al Sig. Goldberg cosa posso fare io cara Signorina – In arte le raccomandazioni non valgono niente e per sentirlo è tardi giacché parte domani mattina, e in casa non ho nemmeno il pianoforte…”. 2 pp. with letterhead. “Grand Hotel & Hotel Euler Basel”. - This item is under temporary import.
