Maria Pia was Queen of Portugal. Not yet fifteen, she was engaged to King Louis I of Portugal, who ascended to the throne at the age of 23 in 1861, and she married him by proxy on September 27, 1862, and in person on October 6. 1 page, in-4. Manuscript address and wax stamp under paper on the 4th. Some cuts do not compromise the readability of the text. - This item is under temporary import.
