Gold lady's necessaire in an inlaid violet wood box. First half of the 19th century. Flared shape decorated with birds and scrolls in bone marquetry. The case contains an 18k gold ladies' set including a penholder and mechanical pencil, a punch, a needle, a thimble, a needle case and a pair of scissors. Interior sheathed in ivory velvet. Gross weight: 47.03 g. Size: 12.7 x 7 cm.
