Description

Small "lady's" secretary Decorated with butterfly-winged rosewood veneer, framed by Greek-style fillets and amaranth reserves. It opens with a drawer, a flap concealing four small drawers, and two leaves in the lower section. It is canted and rests on a small cambered base. Grey marble top with cavet molding. Stamped on both front jambs by Charles KRIER. Parisian work of the Transition period Charles Krier was awarded the title of Master in Paris on January 12, 1774.
