Donkey's back desk with rosewood and violetwood veneer decoration. It is curved on three sides, and opens with a flap concealing a small box with two drawers and a double back in the central part. It opens at the waist to a wide drawer and rests on a cambered base. Decorated with gilded bronzes. Stamped by JC ELLAUME and stamped under the front crosspiece. Parisian work, Louis XV period Jean-Charles Ellaume was received as Master in Paris on November 6, 1754.
