Kasaya in red wool edged with silk and gold metallic threads. China, late Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Rectangular, divided into nineteen columns, each comprising four rectangular panels embroidered with Buddhas seated on lotuses, a character inscribed at the top center and surrounded by bodhisattvas and guardians, the border adorned with dragons, Buddhist emblems and waves; missing on the left side (columns and border), small thread losses, minor restorations.
