Silver censer. Paris 1819-1838 Goldsmith: Jacques Alexandre Basnier Baluster form on pedestal with gadroon and canal decoration. The openwork upper part is decorated with cherubs in clouds spaced out on wide, leafy consoles. The top is decorated with palmettes, canals and foliage, topped by a fruit. The chains are held by a later hanging rosette. Height Height : 27.5 cm Gross weight: 502 g.

French silver salt cellar Paris, 1819 - 1838 Height x width x depth: 114.4 x 15.6 x 7 cm; Weight: 145.3 g. with internally gilded shell-shaped upper basins and vegetable motives, resting on columns decorated with marine motives. 950/1000 silver, hallmarked with the hallmarks in use in Paris between 1819 and 1838, silversmith not indentifiable. Item condition grading: **** good. The salt cellar is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
