Description

Silver tripod coffee pot. Perpignan, 1748-1749 Master Goldsmith: Jean-Baptiste Violet, received in 1745 Baluster-shaped, standing on three feet. The covered duckbill spout ends in a molded knob. The domed lid is highlighted with engraved fillets and holds a button-shaped, scrolled thumb rest. The side handle is turned boxwood. It is engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a count's crown. Master stamp on the bottom and lid. Height Height : 23 cm Gross weight: 819 g.
