Ancestor figure Cameroon or Gabon, probably late 19th century, dark coloured hardwood, seated male ancestor statue, arms crossed in front of the chest, wearing a pearl necklace around neck and hips, the head decorated with numerous feathers, mounted on a heavy square base, cracked due to drying, signs of age, h approx. 75 cm in total.
