Zoomorphic wing mask of the Bwa - Burkina Faso, West Africa - Rectangular board with a central, protruding, angular animal face, each side with a salamander in high relief surrounded by geometric ornamental bands, verso also with geometric, chamfered notched decoration. Wood with pigmentation in red, black and white. 25 x 140 x 14 cm. - Signs of age and use. - From a southern German private collection.
