Stringed instrument - Probably Tanzania, East Africa - Bowl-shaped, open body with a long neck and a human head at the end. Wood. H. 60 cm. - Signs of age and wear, strings missing. - The instrument resembles the Indian stringed instrument dhodro banam of the Santal. - From a private collection in southern Germany.
