Vase with heron decoration - Japan, Meiji period - 1868-1912 - Tall, ovoid shape, ribbed at the top with a narrow neck and a flaring, multiple curved rim; five herons in relief on the front in front of engraved bushes, the eyes heightened with gold. Bronze, brown patina. Morimitsu mark on the base. H. 45.5 cm.
