Louis XIV mirror - France, 18th century - Rectangular shape with a four-part mirror field, framed by flat carved tendrils on a diamond ground, corner decoration with stylized leaves, openwork carved crown with flowers and protruding foliage. Carved deciduous and coniferous wood, gilded. 79 x 57 cm. - The gilding partially polished through to the bolus, leaf glued.
