Louis XIII/XIV frame - France, 17th/18th century - Visible moulding as a flat carnation with tendril and leaf ornamentation as corner decoration, sanded moulding, ascending, back-chamfered, ascending carnation with acanthus leaf and flower decoration in the corners and engraved tendril decoration in the centers; sprung joint with slide-in strips. Carved and gilded oak. Overall dimensions 63.3 x 44.4 cm; external dimensions 73.6 x 54.4 cm. - Signs of age and use.
