Bamberg blacksmiths' guild box - A. 16th century - Rectangular body with hinged, profiled lid, front with two arched panels containing illustrations of blacksmiths' tools, original forged lock, carrying handle and straps. Softwood, painted blue. 24 x 50 x 30 cm. - Signs of age, the paint worn in places.
